03Technical information

This sealant is supplied as a two-part polythioether system in a Semkit format, allowing fast, accurate mixing and controlled application using standard extrusion equipment. It operates across a wide temperature range from -62°C to 160°C, with intermittent exposure up to 216°C, maintaining flexibility and sealing performance under demanding conditions. Once cured, it forms a durable, elastomeric seal with strong adhesion to common aerospace substrates, including metals and composites. It is resistant to prolonged exposure to aviation fuels and moisture, making it suitable for sealing fuel tanks, fuselage joints, and access areas. Its rapid curing characteristics support efficient maintenance, helping reduce downtime during scheduled work and time-critical repairs.
