Shipping Policy

Shipping, delivery and collection policy explaining how ADG handles dispatch, export preparation and collection arrangements.

Trade customers only

ADG supplies on a business-to-business basis only.

Delivery term

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, goods are supplied FCA ADG nominated dispatch facility in the United Kingdom, Incoterms 2020.

The exact collection point will be shown in ADG order documentation, including the order acknowledgement, proforma invoice or commercial invoice.

Collection and dispatch requirements

Once goods are available, ADG will issue a readiness notice or dispatch confirmation. Collection should take place on the agreed date or within 5 Business Days of readiness notice where no date is agreed.

Before collection, the customer must provide carrier details, collection reference, full ship-to details, freight forwarder details where applicable, end user or end use information where requested, and any dangerous goods documentation needed for the shipment mode.

Export packing and dangerous goods

Some goods require dangerous goods classification checks, compliant packing, labelling, marking, shipper declarations, segregation, overpacking, documentation or specialist storage and handling.

Additional charges may apply and will be quoted separately or added to the order where applicable.

Risk, customs and destination compliance

Risk passes when goods are delivered to the customer nominated carrier or collection party at the named FCA place stated in ADG order documentation.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise, the customer is responsible for import clearance, import licences, destination registrations, duties, taxes, local product compliance, destination storage and final delivery.
