03Technical information

This sealant is a manganese dioxide-cured polysulphide compound supplied as a thixotropic, low-sag paste, allowing controlled application using extrusion equipment or hand tools. It operates across a temperature range of -54°C to 121°C, with intermittent exposure up to 135°C, maintaining flexibility and sealing performance under fuel exposure. Once cured at ambient conditions, it forms a resilient, elastomeric seal with strong adhesion to common aerospace substrates. It retains its sealing properties after prolonged exposure to aviation fuels, making it suitable for long-term fuel tank and fuselage sealing applications.
